What you Can Expect

What to expect when you book me to photograph your wedding
Because I want the set of images to tell the story of your whole day - I am with you all day! That would usually mean somewhere between 10 and 12 hours in attendance with no limit on the number of photographs I take during that time.

Once the images are on my computer, I use Adobe Lightroom to view the images and eliminate any photographs that have people blinking etc. I always aim to take at least two or three shots of each scenario to guard against blinking and there will normally be at least one shot included within the final set from each scenario.

Having removed any images that will not form part of your final set, I start editing each image to make it look as good as possible. Please note this does not include body reshaping or cloning your head on to the body of your favourite celebrity.

Because I realise that you will be keen to relive the Big Day by viewing some images as soon as possible, I aim to provide you with a selection of edited images (between 40 and 60) within one week of your Wedding Day. I have had lots of lovely thank you emails from some very exotic honeymoon locations!

Once I’ve whet your appetite by giving you a selection of images, I get to work editing the remaining images from your full set - this usually takes around 5 or 6 weeks.
When the full set of images is ready, you will receive an email containing a link to the gallery, together with passwords and a pin number to download the images to your laptop or computer. Although I retain your images for a period of three years, I would always advise couples to have at least two copies of their own.

Every image is presented on the gallery in both full colour and black and white, full size and without any restriction on their use. This means you can source your own prints, albums and canvasses etc. The gallery page allows for the viewing, downloading and sharing on social media.

The gallery also allows couples (and your family and friends) to create lists containing their favourite images. If these lists are restricted to no more than 200 images, I can create a cool app for each separate favourites list – enabling you to have your favourite images with you constantly on your phone or tablet.

For an additional cost, I can supply prints, albums and USB presentation boxes but most couples seem to enjoy sourcing these for themselves.
